Gov. Charlie Crist praised President Barack Obama for bringing the First Family to Florida’s Gulf Coast for a brief vacation. “It’s the biggest single commercial you could imagine. God bless him,” Crist said before meeting with Obama, his wife Michelle and a handful of Panama City business owners at a waterfront Coast Guard station. Republicans have blasted Obama for what they called a “27-hour guilt trip” to the region where the economy suffered as tourism plummeted during BP’s massive oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Crist brushed off the criticism.

When I managed a motel on the gulf coast in Mississippi after my military retirement..learned a lesson..
In front of the motel..was the swimming pool and across the highway was the beach and ocean.
My second weekend rented two rooms to a large Black family early in the morning...they filled up the swimming pool.
Arriving guests could see the occupied pool.
Rented no rooms as long as the pool was occupied..they remained in the pool the day and into the night.
A 38 room motel. Rented perhaps 4 rooms that Saturday.
LOL. He spent all of 12 hours (or less) on the coast! Bless him for *that*?

Looks like Crist got caught up in the homo excitement and made a very stupid statement, given the number of Jews and conservatives in Florida against the Muslim mosque (Islamic Center) at Ground Zero!
Remember the HUGE turnout for Sarah at The Villages in Florida..........I just don’t see those folks loving on ole Charlie Crist.
