A house divided cannot stand. Any fractures will allow the enemy to win. Dusting, as the wife say’s, is done one object at a time, with a clean cloth, and not a broom.
He is NOT a crook. My spouse has worked with him and knows him well. The HCA deal was Hillary’s vendetta because Rick Scott did not go along with her healthcare bill.
The Medicare billing regulations were created so the gov’t could find errors - extremely confusing. (sort of like the IRS, you call 5 diff reps with a question, you’ll get 5 diff answers.)
The man knows healthcare probably better than any other person in the country and is a superb, ethical businessman.
Do you know him, personally? We do. He is a brilliant businessman.
(Well-said post !)
Friends....those who support Scott are in denial of his of connection to medicare corruption. They are as foolish and niave as the morons who voted for Obama....
As for this bogus poll...here’s one to counter it....From the Chamber of Commerce:
Bill McCollum has a 12 point advantage over Rick Scott on the Republican primary ballot for Governor (45% to 33%). Another 20% of voters are undecided.
MIAMI HERALD NAKED POLITICS BLOG: Chamber Poll: Bill McCollum by 12 (?!)
http://miamiherald.typepad.com/nakedpolitics/2010/08/chamber-poll-bill-mccollum-by-12-.html
So the Herald/Times has a poll showing Rick Scott’s up by 10 percentage points over Bill McCollum.
Comes now the Chamber of Commerce, which shows quite the opposite: McCollum by 12. Sure, the pollster works for McCollum and the chamber has endorsed McCollum. But numbers are numbers. Methodologies vary (like vs. registered). And there’s something in the water.
From the analysis:
Bill McCollum has regained the lead in Floridas Republican primary race for Governor. In McLaughlin and Associates most recent poll, Bill McCollum has a 12 point advantage over Rick Scott on the Republican primary ballot for Governor (45% to 33%). Another 20% of voters are undecided. Bill McCollum leads among important demographic groups such as moderates (48%/27%), conservatives (43%/36%), white voters (45%/33%), Hispanic voters (52%/21%), men (45%/33%), women (45%/32%), voters under age 55 (43%/32%) and voters over age 55 (46%/33%).
I support McCollum.
Reminds me of Ross Perot!
Thank You!
I have gone pretty deep into this deal and have learned much of the same.
After “Hillary Care” was defeated, the Clintons came after many private Hospitals that opposed her for revenge, and by no means not just HCA.
Bil McCollum actually gave a speech on the floor denouncing the attacks, and effectively defending HCA. (Now of coarse he nuances this as not the case)
Its frustrating to see the number of Freepers who keep posting “Do your reaserch”, who apparently wouldn’t know research if it landed in their lap.
It is little different than the people who say Rush, Beck, Fox, etc. are racist liars but when pressed for specifics, have absolutely nothing but “I read or heard he said...”
Again,
I am not necessarily a Scott Supporter. I am just looking for the truth of the matter.
And there has been absolutely nothing but conjecture at this point posted on this thread to support the contention that Rick Scott is a crook.
