He’s been certified - with a 15 vote margin; votes matter, folks - so (barring a final recount request from the Allen campaign) he’s the nominee. I also would like to thank the FReepers who knew a great candidate when they saw it. After Stupak spent weeks suggesting the nation would not feel Obamacare without the Hyde Amendment language, he decided to go for an Executive Order from the most Pro-Abortion President this country has ever seen. Dan is the real deal. Dr. Dan Benishek is a surgeon from the sparsely populated Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where “we the people” reside, and where we understand the American Spirit. Thank you.

The nation should be damn proud of us. We picked some top notch congressional candidates. Governor, not so much but can help the nation with our congressional candidates.

If he’s a liberal/leftist/progressive republican, than there’s a good chance he will pull a Gore. But if he has a shred of dignity, he should bow out of the race, and endorse the good Doctor. Of course, if he’s a legitimate Conservative Republican he will do the right thing for the people of his district, and the party itself.

yes, well, he said he was a conservative plenty of times during the race, (and he is NOT) so he may do anything, we won’t know until he moves before Sunday at 10:14 am.
