Yes - Jews, Christians, Muslins, all welcome as masons. He is a mason. Masons require one to believe in a diety, nothing more.
The question really wasn’t about whether Freemasons would accept a Muslim. It’s whether Muslims would allow it. Research shows that Muslims wouldn’t allow it.
I am not so sure you can get to the higher level and say you believe in Jesus Christ. The witness story was an interesting one.
