This story is an example of bs.
1) The snake wasn’t “on” cocaine.
2) Pythons a restrictors and almost harmless.(I have one)

Pythons a restrictors and almost harmless.

I bet most of those 12 people don't know that.

Your post is an example of BS.

“2)Pythons are restrictors and almost harmless “??????

Are you on cocaine ,also?

Pythons kill their prey by squeezing rathering than biting,so I guess the guy in Colorado a few years ago isn’t really dead? or the little girl in Florida a few months ago?

I firmly believe people who keep dangerous pets (and snakes qualify as dangerous just by being snakes)are waving a warning flag that can be seen by anyone who is in touch with reality.

Actually, the snakes under discussion are constrictors.

I’ve been told small constrictors make good beginner snakes, since they’re generally slow to bite if well cared for, and rather gentle...anything to that?

Kinda got interested in snakes after finding an Eastern Kingsnake in the yard and reading about them being so docile you can capture a wild one and tame it with little difficulty. Friend claims he got his first snake @ 3 that way...scooped up a kingsnake and gave it a name, pretty much.
