I’m going to say at this point that I will never, ever get married. I will never willingly put the relationship between a man and a woman on the same level as two perverts.

You fags wanted it, you shopped it to a faggot judge, now you got it, so effing keep it.

Marriage is now defined as whatever you want to stick it into.

Count me out.

One homo judge thwarts the will of 7 million people.

It was once a great country...

Will they have to pay the marriage penalty tax when it comes back next year, or are they married in all respects except for taxation purposes?

“The only way to throw him out is retirement, death, or impeachment and Conviction by the US House and Senate. Everyone in the US can demand their representatives draft articles of impeachment against this judge.”

That won’t stop his edict from being forced upon us by the Federal injustice system. It will just get rid of this one dictatorial judge.

I we need to start reexamining the bonds, now chains of this union. This is NOT what we had in mind we we agreed to join!

Let us submit to a candid world a list of our now many and growing grievances for it is not merely this usurpation but many more in the past and nearly as many still to come.

The present Federal Government of the United States has robed us of our:
* Tradition.
* Our lawful protection from murder(Roe v. Wade)
* Our basic right to Constitutional government in its edicts declaring itself the final arbiter of the extent of it’s own power.
* Our right to even provide for our own protection in the amendment of our own constitutions.

* She has also robed us of our right to even grow and consume food on our own land!

* This Federal government has furthermore denied us her constitutionally mandated protection against foreign threats.

The present Federal government of the United States is a lawless dictatorial government! It knows no limits and it has NOT the consent of the governed!

Its long past time we start facing the truth about the evil that is before, and dealing with that evil appropriately.

They may get handed “Marriage.” But they’ll never experience “Holy Matrimony.” There is NOTHING Holy about what they do.

Sorry but California seems to be the state that gets this type of garbage rolling in the first place, (No offense to the good citizens of the state), but you are overrun with people of little moral standard.. or flocking from and thru your borders.

It is beginning here in my state as well...as we see more and more of our laws changed to accomodate the minority “tribes” of various individuals who will not nor do they desire to live descent lifes.

You’re missing the fact that Prop 8 was supported 2:1 in California.

The insane judge is the problem.

The judges are the problem in every place where there is a problem.

"I've heard that the judge is gay. If this is true is this a conflict of interest?" As much as I abhor this decision, could the other side say that had the judge been a married heterosexual it would have been a conflict of interest? We are so done....I'm really depressed.......

If I’m understanding it correctly, the plaintiffs may not even have standing if they go and file a whole new lawsuit. Whoever files a lawsuit has to have standing, and that means that first and foremost they have to show that they have been harmed. One of the reasons those in favor of Prop 8 lost this case is that they were not able to show that overturning Prop 8 would be harmful to them. If they have since come up with some evidence showing actual harm to them, then there might be some benefit to starting a new suit.

“So your saying that if a leftist state like California sets up a constitutional dispute in which they are doomed to loose and doesn’t win in the Federal court they can set the presidents which dooms all other states?”

If the case is not appealed, it will not have any direct impact on states outside his jurisdiction. Frankly, given the lousy showing they made in the case, the defense would be wise NOT to push this forward and lose at the SCOTUS.

“Walker seems to imply that those defending Prop 8 wouldn’t even have standing to appeal, so that this case can’t go to the Ninth Circuit or SCOTUS.”

“You’re missing the fact that Prop 8 was supported 2:1 in California.”

It passed 52% to 48%, which was kind of surprising, actually, given California’s reputation...

Once there are gay couples married in California it will establish two classes of gay citizens and the SCOTUS and especially Justice Kennedy does not like separate classes and does love the Equal Protection Clause.

This is already the case. 4,037 gay marriage licenses were issued in 2004, so there are already two classes of gay citizens. All gays who have wanted to obtain marriage licenses since 2004 are second-class citizens to those who were legally married in California in 2004 (under equal protection).

Judicial tyranny at it worst. The pro-Sodomites were hellbent from the beginning to have their way in twisting and perverting the Constitution. They stole signs out of people's yards before the election, they vandalized and threatened those who supported traditional God-ordained one man one woman marriage. And behaved like the fascists they are. It's was the only way for them to achieve their goals of destroying the family. By destroying the votes of the majority of the people in California.

This is a dark day in our nation's history. A very dark day.
