WSJ-Initial unemployment claims rose by 2,000 to 484,000 in the week ended Aug. 7, the Labor Department said in its weekly report Thursday. The last time claims were this high was the week ending Feb. 20.
Oops. CNBC was saying just this a.m. the number was expected to be lower.
