I love how the “presidential scholar” from the Brookings Institute, Hess, says it’s OK for zero to take lots of vacations and “spend, spend, spend” in order to “stimulate” the economy!

Zero is spending money taken from the private sector and funneled into the public sector; it could have been spent originally by the people who actually earned it by creating wealth. Sounds like another moron in economics.

What a jerk he is taking off on weekends. He should work 7 days a week only.

You make it sound like he leaves after work Friday and is back Sunday night ready for work Monday morning.

These vacations are not your "average guy" weekend getaways. They are extravagant, real vacations including weekdays.

The average guy doesn't get this many days off work even after 20 years of service.

Zero is a rookie, the new employee. He hasn't even put in the time to deserve such time off, let alone the cost (I'm sure he isn't paying most of it).

But first the Obamas will be traveling to the Gulf Coast of Florida for a mini-vacation as a way to encourage other vacationing Americans to head to the beaches that have been shunned by tourists worried about oil-slicked sands due to the Gulf oil spill.

How does this encourage anything? Practically the entire country starts back to school in the next couple of weeks. We're all done with vacations. Worthless show.
