Response I've gotten from calls...... more people are dissatisfied with Strickland (known entity) and want him replaced than are convinced that Portman is better than Fisher (both relative unknowns to the politically unaware).

More work to be done here, but things are looking positive. Rob will win.

With Ohio predicted to lose TWO House seats in the upcoming redistricting, the governor is really important..what do the Stae House races look like?

I haven't warmed up to OH politics. I do follow things, though, and have a few comments.

First of all, the Jennifer Brunner thing. She had the whole Obama machine behind her, and she lost pretty strongly to someone whose TV ads were about jobs. Her loss tells me that Obama couldn't get his minority and young supporters to get out and vote for someone who should've won. I think Obama's REALLY unpopular in OH right now.

Secondly, both races....the US Senate and the Governor belong to the 'pubs. Only they can mess it up. They have to remember that OH residents want jobs, don't really like city problems stretching outward, are fed up with the invasion taking jobs and destroying neighborhoods and communities. They still have to be educated about how Obama nazi health care is about the feds taking over their bodies.

It seems most OH residents are pretty conservative. And they're ready to turn over that Senate seat and the Gov's office to two good-sounding 'pubs.
