I think it safe to say that conventional wisdom among GA FReepers is that Deal would have handily won the military absentees, since he has former military service and Handel does not.
This is NOT true. I know.... I work in an elections office in Georgia. The only votes that have not been counted are the few military ballots that have until Friday (by law) to arrive. Today my very large county received ONE BALLOT! So there is no way 2500 military ballots for Handel are going to show up in 2 days - in fact - whatever small percentage of military ballots are still coming in are probably 50/50 or in Deal's favor.
ALL the absentee ballots have been counted in every county!This is some myth that absentee ballots are not counted. They are counted on election night along with the votes of all those who voted in person during early voting and on election day.
