Mittens was only in Mass to make money and get his political ticket stamped. Mitt did nothing about any corruption in the state. Too hair, and Presidential run disturbing. The same can be expected of the wimp as President.

Dear Lord please don’t allow Mitt Romney to be the nominee.

I guess the mug shot was taken after Matt Amorella was thrown under the bus; it’s usually not literal, however.

Romney is one of the “fiscal only” republicans.

I really don’t like a guy who spends more time on his hair etc than I do!
What an interesting article; it really captured the Mitt-witt.

I will grant, those aren’t literally Mitt’s hands holding the guy’s head for the mug shot.

(Then again, Mitt generally hires others do his dirty work.)

Romney threw Mass. citizens under the bus with his
imposition of gay marriage and RomneyCARE (before he fled Mass.)

Also under the Romney bus:

"National Guard Lt. Anthony Circosta poses in his backyard in Agawam, Mass., on June 9, 2007.
At left, his wife Danielle and daughter Kylie, 2, talk near the swing set. Circosta,
a decorated Iraq War veteran, seemed like an ideal candidate for a pardon from
then-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for the 29-year-old's boyhood conviction
for a BB gun shooting. Romney denied the pardon,
twice, despite the recommendation of the Governor's Council.
"

Also under the Romney bus:

"Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans,
has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced
,
instead tapping registered Democrats or independents -- including two gay lawyers who
have supported expanded same-sex rights, a Globe review of the nominations has found.
Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats
or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians
or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show.
In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters,
and 14 registered Democrats."
- Boston Globe 7/25/2005

Romney Rewards one of the State's Leading Anti-Marriage Attorneys by Making him a Judge
Romney told the U.S. Senate on June 22, 2004, that the "real threat to the States is not the
constitutional amendment process, in which the states participate,
but activist judges who disregard the law and redefine marriage . . ."
Romney sounds tough but yet he had no qualms advancing the legal career of one
of the leading anti-marriage attorneys.
He nominated Stephen Abany to a District Court.
Abany has been a key player in the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association which,
in its own words, is "dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision
on marriage equality is upheld, and that any anti-gay amendment or legislation is defeated."
- U.S. Senate testimony by Gov. Mitt Romney, 6/22/2004 P>

"Romney announces he won't fill judicial vacancies before term ends
Despite his rhetoric about judicial activism, Romney announced that
he won't fill all the remaining vacancies during his term - but instead
leave them for his liberal Democrat successor!

Governor Mitt Romney pledged yesterday not to make a flurry of lame-duck
judicial appointments in the final days of his administration . . . David Yas,
editor of Lawyers Weekly, said Romney is "bucking tradition" by resisting the urge to
fill all remaining judgeships. "It is a tradition for governors to use that power to appoint judges
aggressively in the waning moments of their administration," Yas said.
He added that Romney has been criticized for failing to make judicial appointments.
"The legal community has consistently criticized him for not filling open seats quickly enough
and being a little too painstaking in the process and being dismissive of the input of the
Judicial Nominating Commission," Yas said.

“The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.

The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.”
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006

"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
“Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,”

[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."

Can someone please provide some background details on what actually happened? The posted article is extremely unclear. (The writer was working hard to have the right tone but didn’t give a blink about clarity.)

I can guess there was some kind of tunnel collapse causing at least one fatality, and then what? Someone was arrested for that? Arrested while unconscious? What? And Romney did what? He had a sweaty lip? What?

Help, please.

Thanks.

Amerillo is a typical Mass hack pol. He got pinched for OUI, has lost his house and his wife left him. He was a real hack. Ran as a reformer and instantly turned piggy.

He was the don’t rock the boat, knucklehead head of the organization that supposedly ran Boston’s Big Dig. A massive, poorly built, but well executed union/government hack/contractor exercise in ripping off taxpayer money.( Think Willie Green and HSR ).

Buy the way, the underground tunnels have killed way more people. They put pedestrian rails, along the tunnel ways that have decapitated/killed something like ten or more people, including LEO’s.

Mitt could of turned the rock over on the project at anytime and seen the cockroaches and snakes run, but he didn’t. Too cowardly, too wimpy. It would of, to him, threatened his ‘Mr. Fix-It’ palaver that he so desperately clings too.( In truth, his fix-its were always just bailouts with other people’s money, just like any Democrat or RINO. )

Anyway. A lady got killed and Mitt used it as an opportunity to fire ‘Fat Matt’. Something he wouldn’t do until someone got killed and Mitt needed a body for total, financial, engineering failure.

I hold no brief for Mitt Romney, but Matthew Amorello richly deserved his place under the bus.

He was not even close to innocent in any of this. He should be in prison.

The tone of this article seems to be that Amorello is - under some bizarre interpretation - a good guy.

If there is even the slightest chance that Romney will be the nominee it’s time to start planning how to survive another 4 years of obummer.

True about the fat guy.

But the subject is Mitt. You know, Mr. ‘Roll Up Brooks Brothers Sleaves and Fix it.’ Harvard. Bain.

And what in Mass did he fix? ( Take your time, I’ve been mulling the question for a decade. )

In his presidential bid, Romney often proudly points out that he was the first governor in modern Massachusetts history to deny every request for a pardon or commutation during his four years in office. He says he refused pardons because he didn't want to overturn a jury.

What an a$$hole...
