Behind The Ground Zero Mosque

Sacred Sites: While a Greek Orthodox church is held up near ground zero, the Cordoba Mosque is fast-tracked on property the developers don't own. Moderate Muslims and Muslim victims of 9/11 say it's a provocation.

Like the fabled Trojan Horse, the Cordoba Mosque is touted as an offering of friendship and a chance for us to show our tolerance. But its march toward construction has been marked with deceit, fraud and double standards.

Before Islamofascists turned passenger jets into cruise missiles and toppled the World Trade Center, mosques and Islamic cultural centers dotted America. Not a single Christian church exists in Saudi Arabia. We've shown our tolerance. We do not need to show our naivete.

As the New York Post has discovered, one of the parcels the mosque is to be built on is owned by Con Edison, even though Soho Properties told officials and the public it owned all the land. Soho only leases the property. Con Edison mysteriously kept quiet all this time, perhaps at the urging of Mayor Michael Bloomberg, for whom the mosque is a high priority.

It's certainly a higher priority than St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, which used to be right across the street from the WTC until it was crushed when Tower 2 and its incinerated inhabitants came crashing down on it.

Plans to rebuild St. Nicholas two blocks from its original location fell apart when Port Authority officials objected to its 24,000-square-foot footprint with a traditional grand dome that they said could not rise higher than the planned WTC memorial. Yet no objection was raised to a 13-story mosque on which no height restrictions were placed.

Breathtaking!

In fact, I venture there is criminal malfeasance afoot here on the part of some of the NYC government.

People are going down the wrong path when they argue on religious grounds since islam is not merely a religion. It is a violent political ideology with its own laws and court system. Religion is only one component and is used to impose islam on non muslim societies. Instead people should point out Islam’s Sharia laws are anathema to the U.S. Constitution. Therefore the two can never coexist in the U.S.

I'd be interested in finding out just how much business his companies do with muslim countries... I'd be willing to bet the amount is a lot... Follow the money...

No. The elites are devious, and keep their true motives to themselves. They confuse the "live-and-let-live" attitude of the average American with stupidity. They keep upping the ante, trying to see just how much they can get away with. When average people finally reach their limit, they accuse us of being "intolerant" or of "not understanding the meaning of freedom of religion" or whatever. Racist, bigot, homophobe. Bla bla. They've been getting away with it for a long time, but now, with a black man elected to the Presidency, it's a bit of a stretch.

People really are this stupid. :(:(:(

I can't believe what I'm looking at - we're actually building a monument to people who side with the enemy!

Bingo! Things don’t usually happen in a vacuum. There is lots of middle eastern oil money in this country. These people have buddies and associates all over the place. Look for politicians and you will find business people. Look for business people and you will find media people. They are a tight knit triangle of interests.

The people behind the mosque no doubt have lots of money to spread around. No doubt they do lots of business with American businessmen, have lots of politician friends as well as media friends. Once the middle eastern interests make friends or make a business deal with one party of the elite clique, they will be accepted with the whole exclusive club. “You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.”

Com ed owns one of the 2 buildings .. often developers promote projects they do not yet have to gain funds and entice investors in line..The project and date seem more like a threat than ever a reality.

Bigger money, by individual or collectively will see that this travesty never comes to be.
