I've got to disagree with you on this one. Islam is a (mighty twisted) moral, spiritual, social, and political force. If we have nothing to counter Islam except sexual imbecility -- we have nothing to counter Islam.

Unsupported premise. We have many ways to oppose Islam, including the truth of Christianity and the USS Ronald Reagan. And we also have their sexual imbecility.

Some FReeper has a tagline that says (something like) "One of the most effective ways to oppose evil is to point and laugh" at its pretension, and that's what Mr. Gutfeld is doing, imo.

Peace. I actually understand that, my friend. But having done a FR search on the words gay mosque, and other related keywords, and I notice a lot more glee, even here, for assh*le alinsky-ism than for any spiritual initiatives you can name.

In fact, I see no Catholic, no Protestant, no Jew putting up threads on communities of faith opposing the GZM, preaching the Gospel to Muslims, or mounting a Peregrinacion-Penitencia-Revolucion campaign of any sort against Islam.

I know we both would welcome the same.
