SNIPPET: "UPDATE On Tuesday, August 10, 2010 12:24 PM, KY3 received an official statement from Dish Network regarding the issue.
Starting at approximately 3:30 a.m. MDT, satellite uplink provider, EchoStar, experienced an equipment failure associated with a primary video router located at its uplink facility in Wyoming, which caused a portion of DISH Networks standard definition channels to default to a variety of international channels. EchoStar identified the failure and restored service by 7 a.m. MDT. Local TV channels and high definition channels were not affected."

I was wondering what my son was watching this morning when I came downstairs. He was in making breakfast and he had some Arabic station on with a woman singing in the background that sounded like someone trying to skin a live cat. He told me he was watching Nickelodeon so I figured he hit the wrong numbers is all when I left. This explains it.
I slept right thru.. will it be re-run later? ;-}
This morning, instead of FOX news, we got an Indian talk show for 40 minutes. I was wondering WTH was going on.
