It will work for the Rat base. But that’s about it.

Fine, let the Rats ask Americans if they are better off than they were two years ago.

Unemployment was 5% when Pelosi/Reid took control in Jan 2007. We could do much better than Bush, especially on the spending sign, but we’re currently doing far worse.

When a liberal brings up the idea that electing a Republican will bring back Bush’s policies, the Republican should calmly say:

“We tried it your way, all we got was a weaker economy and more government in our lives.”

Serious question here - where is George Bush? Why is he not on the Campaign Trail for Republicans?

Dems trying to bait Bush out so the election can be about him. Serious question - where is Jimmy Carter? Serious question - where is OBL? Serious question - who is BHO?

The Democrats will try and make it about Bush. I doubt they’ll succeed.

Still, the DNC seems to be trying.

The more they compare the country under Bush to the country under Oboma, the better Bush looks. In fact, he looks really good right now!

The 2008 election should not have been about Bush, let alone 2010. The GOP should have been pounding the dimocRATS with the fact that the dimocRATS had had two year of control of the Congress. And, with that control had derailed the economic engine of the U.S. in order to fabricate the lies that Bush’s administration was soley to blame. So now, we’ve had over three and a half years of dimocRat control of Congress, and nealy 19 months of Obozo in the WH. Who is responsible again?????

Oboma should ask Bush for help. Oboma isn't doing so well.

One of the democrats running for MN governor is running against “George Bush’s No Child Left Behind” bill even though it is more accurate to call it “Teddy Kennedy’s No Child Left Behind” bill.

The Drudge headline "Obama goes gray for Fall - Attacks Bush".... Really? Again?

I bet even the dimmest of dems are tired of that crap by now, and thats saying something...It's beyond old, beyond pathetic, even beyond surreal.

Dims need a new playbook...the race card is tattered and old, Bush sucks isn't working for them anymore...what else they got? Rove and Rumsfeld maybe? Cheney?

Obama’s pitch is aimed squarely at the Dem base and will work with many of them. That is the best strategy for limiting this year’s losses, apart from a rabbit out of the hat development like capturing or killing bin Laden or a well-timed attack on Iran.

Sen. Patty Murry is running ads in Washington State linking Dino Rossi to George Bush.

So yes, they’ll try.

I hope not.

The Dems certainly will TRY to make it about him.

But I HOPE the GOP makes it about the DEMS and OBAMA and his health plan, his trial of Talibanistas in civilian courts, his failure to protect the U.S. border, his bad mouthing America overseas, his socialist, job destroying economic policies, etc. etc.
