appears to be ok with the american civil liberties union, so why not
amazingly, that lense would be the one part of my truck that would not be washed each time...
If cars had a Jesus bobble-head on the dashboard, the ACLU would be out suing.
.
The is Orwellian. This is madness. Government wants to control everything you do from birth to death, and record most of it.
No thanks, who sponsored the bill?
Here comes the nanny state vehicle, will these nut jobs stop at nothing to destroy our way of life..
Version 2.0 would would transfer funds directly out of your bank acount to the state every time a traffic infraction was made.
Why would any law be needed to “allow” this? The ACLU has carried the ball for so many fishy things that it can’t nose out any more whether something stinks. I could go get one and put it in my car right now if I wished and it wouldn’t be illegal. Car dealers could offer them as options and no law would be broken. The only thing that might be questionable would be for the car dealer to not let you delete the option or to not let you shut it off later.
Sad...this is not surprising.

Put that in my truck and I’ll just take the missus by the hand and give you a ton of footage of my hairy butt.
That dripping sound you hear is the insurance companies salivating.
Central Control Center...CCC...C3...CentConCent...¢con¢
So if you are stopped by the cops will it record the police in any way? If so, will they try to prevent the device from operating? As in, “Turn off that recording device, NOW! Only we are allowed to record a police stop!”
Another company develops a product and attempts to get the legislature to pass a law to force everyone to purchase it!
And of course, a few legislators might get a little something under the table, but you're a sick dude if you object to sausage being made.
1984, just a little late.
The only thing of substance this bill does is allow something to be affixed to the windshield in certain locations that doesn’t obscure the driver’s vision.
Sign of the times when we have to be hyper-cynical that our betters have yet another grand plan of control of our freedom.
