... General Mgr Neighborhood Empowerment. Thats not a service, thats a junk job. If you get rid of that job who will empower the neighborhoods? If the neighborhoods are not empowered the gangs will take over and there will be rampant crime. Illegals will be everywhere.
Never mind.

This is just their salaries....They play all kinds of over time games to pump up their government lottery type retirement benefits....

None of these clowns should be paid a cent, but out of fairness, anything under 100K in Los Angeles is not enough for a living wage.

CLERK TYPIST $ $49,160.66 WTF?
I was wondering that too. In this age of Personal Computers, why would anyone need a Clerk Typist? Seems like a job out of the '60's.

Mote cities and counties need to do this so the public becomes aware of the dollars spent on employment to provide the services...
Here is a link to data for entities within Jefferson County Texas.
Example: Superintendent Beaumont Independent School District = $338,493.69. This is a district with somewhere around 20,000 students.

Surprise...surprise. It is like this everywhere. The government entities ALL protect this information with their lives. They are afraid that the working stiff will make them stiffs if they find out. Suckers...shut up, get back to work and pay your taxes so these “public servants” can party!

We have been brainwashed to forget what the "power of the purse" means.
The legislature is the only body with the power to levy taxes and allocate revenue.
If a legislature should only levy so much in taxes and allocate so much in revenue that would be the reality regardless of what anybody contract says.
And our fiscal crisis would be over.

Please read Howie Carr every day. (He's on Drudge) He will explain why it pays to avoid the DPS (The Dreaded Private Sector) and why 75% of the population of Massachusetts apparently do so, and collect huge (HUGE .. Hi 5-6 figures) pensions after very few years.
Reviewing the LA salaries is good exercise. These people are UNDERPAID by Massachusetts standards. If MA adopted the LA civil "servant" payscale ... they could save a bloody fortune!

None of these clowns should be paid a cent, but out of fairness, anything under 100K in Los Angeles is not enough for a living wage. I agree, but try telling that to those in the private sector slaving away for 35k or so per year...

Actually, I’m working in the LA area - and the big news over the last few weeks has been the impending ‘Pension Crisis’ - in 5 years 1/3 of the City Budget will be going to pensions ... ouch !
