Those who know the pimps of Tlaxcala state - victims, prosecutors, social workers and researchers - say the men from Tenancingo have honed their methods over at least three generations.

The article is partially right.
It leaves out the role of madams.
Female pimps are a politicaly correct protected species.
Doing the work American Pimps won’t do.
Keep in mind, these women are ALL eligible for ‘legal status’ by way of the special U Visa.
Physically and emotionally damaged young women with no English skills or employment skills = MORE WELFARE.

I know that some are total victims, slaves. They are terrified of being beaten and choked; I met one some years ago (in Pittsburgh, came from El Salvador!) who had cracked ribs and a ruptured pancreas from having been stomped.
She was arrested regularly, always bailed out by the abductor, never deported.
