Would it surprise you?
There are 600,000 absconders running around this country, i.e., people who have gone thru the judicial process and ordered deported. Deportation is then left up to the individual to do. Obama’s aunt is an example. She has now changed her status to make her legal. It is a travesty. And the number of those released by ICE must be in the millions. ICE doesn’t consider DUI, identity theft, etc to be worth holding people prior to their deportation hearings. There are probably millions of those besides the absconders.
It could be catch and release of the same guy a million times and it wouldn’t surprise me.
Millions I am sure could happen, but I think they would catch far less a year IMO.
