This is nothing more than domestic jingoism.

Sounds like a Man who is taking his oath seriously, he has the authority over his county, not the Feds.

I for one am glad to see him standing up and support him 1000%.

I actually wasn't talking about Sheriff DeMeo when I spoke of “domestic jingoism”. I'm talking more about people, and particularly FReepers, who see every misdeed by federal law enforcement as the first steps of “civil war”.

There were countless threads like this (domestically jingoistic) during the Clinton administration. I expect about the same results.

We have battles to fight but they will be in the courts and at the ballot box.
