Married couples tend to share interests. Anyone know where we can find real stats as opposed to assumptions?
I don't know that there is a database that would have that information as there is no reason for the State to compile those stats. My wife and I both have our CHL but I got mine many years before she got hers.
I know many men who have theirs but few women who do so I am going to ping Basil and 2nd amendment mama who might have a better answer than I have.
In my house, both my husband and I are armed, but he has no desire to carry his when he's out. I told him that since we have "Castle Doctrine Law" in TX, he does not need a permit to have his gun with him on his on property (we own a small ranch a couple of hours drive from our home) , and in his truck when he's traveling.
Side note: I don't know about anybody else, but when I'm in my car, I'm traveling--LOL!
Since he bought his gun in a private buy (which is legal), there is no record that he owns it. Since he is not licensed, he's not in that DB either.
If ya find it let me know...I'd bet a cup of coffee more husbands have it than both husband and wife...
I'll bet two cups of coffee in fact!
Big Pecos River Bike Rally there right now.... Bunch of my troops are over there chasin skirts....
All my girl Fridays have their CHL’s.... Even my 77 year old Mom has hers an I take her to the range with me for the IDPA shoots we have. Now she won’t be yer huckleberry per se yet she is aware an will hit the a-zone fast with her SW model 37 filled with Glaser Silver safety slugs. Crimson Trace grips make her pretty funny on the range... . “I lit that gomer up” is her favorite saying.....
