The cooling actually goes back to ‘98. As that PDO kicks in more and more I just break out the popcorn and watch Goracle and Co. eat crow! LOL!

I’m preying that Gore’s place gets so much snow he won’t be able to dig out it for quite a while.

Here is his blog page.

For what it's worth, he was right on the money in last winter's prediction for here in Michigan............Little snow but lots of cold.

Is it usually cold in August in the Sacramento Valley?

Went to High School and College in Michigan. Know all about that kinda cold. Interesting to see what will happen this winter. Have La Nina instead of El Nino, plus a cold PDO. My guess would be less snow in Baltimore/DC area, but more in Michigan. The Northern Plains (Dakotas) also got a lot of snow last year, but it was mainly ignored because of the huge snows in Baltimore/DC. Had quite a few low rider El Nino storms come over Southern California and track up the east coast. Will probably see a lot more Alberta Clippers this winter.

It’s been a hot, humid, rainy summer in Illinois. I liked last year better. We only had the ac on twice last summer...
