The videotaped Alaska camping trip between reality star Kate Gosselin and political personality Sarah Palin was a 'nightmare,' a source told the National Enquirer.
According to the tabloid, Gosselin lasted just two hours in the woods, before storming off in tears. The story suggests Gosselin acted like a 'diva' upon finding out about the bathroom situation. For the record, Palin pleaded for her to stay.

Bad judgement is becoming a Palin family trait. Really? Now, other than the silly teenage girl, please give us details of this family trait. Support for McCain Making up words schtick.

Palin-Goslin camping trip - here’s the article from National Enquirer. It’s hilarious! Sounds like Kate’s production team didn’t plan the trip properly. The show was Goslin’s “Kate plus 8”
***
SARAH PALIN bit her lip as KATE GOSSELIN melted down on their camping trip after the Plus 8 mom was handed a bucket with a toilet seat on top.
Kate Gosselin’s much-hyped Alaskan camping trip with Sarah Palin turned into a nightmare when the mega-mom suffered a diva-like meltdown - and stormed off despite Sarah’s pleas.
The reality show star stayed at the campsite for just two hours of the planned two-day adventure - and left amid an avalanche of insults, complaints and tears, The ENQUIRER learned exclusively.
“It was a nightmare,” revealed an insider.
Kate agreed to visit Alaska for her TLC show Kate Plus 8 - but it was clear from the time she hit the ground that she would not be a happy camper.
And then Kate Gosselin learned exactly what the word “wildnerness’ meant!

Thanks for the post, Jim! Wow, you were four-wheeling up some vertical real estate, for sure.
The lake is beautiful! Definitely a place to get away from city!
Here is one of my faves, the Lost Creek Wilderness. I go in from the South Park (yes there really is a South Park!) side instead of the Front Range side, which really cuts down the traffic. It's named for a spectacular creek that tumbles through a long boulder field and then gets "lost" under a huge rock.

How about taking your tail out of your mouth and explain this?

I thought this was the toilet-trailer that the Clintons got at Chelseas wedding. Im cornfused.
Don't be. My comment was: "
Oh yeah. They had it organized, but Gosselin couldn't afford the freight to Alaska." It was 'splained where "organized" linked to.

Shes doing it very succesfully.
Ditto.

Well, we have already established that Bristol Palin has very bad judgement (I’m hoping you wouldn’t dispute this).
Sarah is showing her own lately. What good could possibly come out of camping with Kate Gosselin?
It was not good judgement in my opinion, especially for a person considering the presidency.

Yep. Here is our backpacking toilet.

“Is this some sort of joke? Why in the world would Sarah do this?”
When I heard about the reality show, I thought it was a bad idea at first. But then I thought that it might be a good chance to get people who had already been pre-disposed to dislike her to see her in a more or less unedited context. Something that can turn around a lot of people IMO.
