PHOENIX (AP) — Sen. John McCain's Republican primary challenger has released a new ad using McCain's own voice admitting to lying in the past.
Former congressman J.D. Hayworth's campaign released the commercial Thursday.
It uses McCain's voice from the recording of his 2002 book, in which McCain recalls publicly supporting South Carolina's right to fly the Confederate flag, even though he personally opposed it. McCain says on the recording: " ... it could come down to lying or losing. I chose lying."
The ad suggests McCain is again lying about his record on illegal immigration.

Good Lord isn’t this wretched primary over YET? When is this supposed eo end anyway? It FEELS like Hayworth & McCain have bene fighting for this for years. Sheesh..get it over with already LOL
He’s not only lying about his record on immigration, he’s lying about JD.
Is John McCain lying to us about his toughness on immigration now so he won’t be losing the primary election on August 24th????

This ad pretty much tells us how McCain will operate under pressure and the pressure is on.
JD is finally pulling out some big guns. Now JD, dammit, listen to me. EXPOSE MCCAIN’S REFORM INSTITUTE!!
You have to understand that McCain began to attack JD before JD even announced. He’s spent over $20 million ($15 million just in the last 3 months) smearing JD.
The real question is whether he was lying about the Marxist from Kenya.
