They would never want recognition, they'd all say "it's just what you do!" kind of thing you'd never hear from a leftist bunch.
My dad was not happy that only one (me) of his five children chose to serve their country in the military, but I have high hopes that 75% of my daughters will serve! (hopefully as officers).
