Yes indeed.

When I was much younger I temporarily entertained Evolution, Atheism and it all happened by chance. That's what “enlightened people come to realize”, I was taught.

After regaining my Christian Faith, I actually find the “evolution story” quite laughable. So much ‘evidence’ has been cooked.

It is a deliberate scheme to deny the existence of God, so that their are no inalienable rights, and the State is all powerful over all life from conception to disposal.

If you want an eye-opener in the realm of law,

do some research on Harvard changing from Blackstone’s commentary on the law to the “case law” approach.

The former is the “natural law”, or the God-given law approach,

and the latter is the human wisdom based, evolutionary view of the law.

As one communist put it - “the fixity of the law is our greatest obstacle”.

Hasn’t changed much either. College level Bio 101 (loved the molecular stuff) still explains the big picture with “chance.” They use the word so much that it comes to mean the opposite in the student’s mind if they are not watching for it. Like the weather man saying there is a 20% chance of rain, 95% of the year. Well, is it going to rain? Probably not.
