Officers with the Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant Friday, seizing marijuana plants from the home of Poplar, Mont., Police Chief Chad Hilde.
Seized during the search were several suspected marijuana plants and materials alleged to be used in the growth of the plants. Deputies are currently getting an arrest warrant for Hilde through the Roosevelt County Attorney's Office...
the search was part of the departments Operation New Beginning launched in spring 2009 to keep illegal drugs out of the community.

Pot Plants?
This guy deserves at least 25-30 years.
Of course being a LEO who i am sure has sent more then a few pot users up the river maybe he deserves 35-40 years.
The funny thing is virtually no state or county police function...requires drug testing. You would suspect that an entry drug test would always be required for any guy...and maybe one test a year to keep folks honest.
Try to imagine the thousands of lives that were saved by this heroic action by our fearless law enforcement professionals.
Legalize it
Here in Riverside Country CA , one can have DUI’s on a record and still be a Deputy.
I don't see any problems with this. After all, it's just alcohol --a harmless social lubricant. /s
