I just heard on the radio yesterday that while consumer spending in the USA is stagnant or decreasing, the only thing bustling is electronics.

This fact leads to a number of interesting analysis, but I don't even want to go there.

Cell phone sales certainly are bustling. I see many people who gladly spend all their rent and grocery money on an iPhone or Evo.

In fact, iPhone and Evo are almost unobtainable...they can't make them fast enough.
