Sacrifice is something that many Americans are becoming all too familiar with during this economic downturn. It was a key theme in President Obama's inaugural address to the nation, and he's referenced it numerous times when lecturing the country on how to get back on its feet.

To be clear, what the Obamas do with their money is one thing; what they do with ours is another. Transporting and housing the estimated 70 Secret Service agents who will flank the material girl will cost the taxpayers a pretty penny.
Perhaps it could be that the Obamas, who seem to fancy themselves more along the lines of international celebrities than actual leaders, espouse a different view of sacrifice. When Michelle Obama accompanied her husband to Copenhagen along with best buddy Oprah Winfrey, she billed the trip - an ultimately unsuccessful bid to bring the Olympics to Chicago - as follows: "As much of a sacrifice as people say this is for me or Oprah or the President to come for these few days, so many of you in this room have been working for years to bring this bid home."

The Obama modus operandi is becoming clear. From lavish trips to Spain to reportedly flying Bo, the President's Portuguese water dog, on a separate aircraft to vacation with them in Maine, to a date night in New York City that perhaps cost nearly $100,000, their idea of austerity is really just the lap of luxury, at least for ordinary folks.

She has noting to worry about she owns Discovery Channel and also TLC I don't know what else she owns besides a school in Africa..Oprah and her fellow New Agers should move to Africa they could start their own country in the jungle.

She owns Stedmen and Obama. Im glad her rating went down she demounced Christianity on her show and proclaimed some new age God and Obama and Soros as HER God.
And, furthermore, she's a dedicated, self-sacrificing employee who has dedicated herself to sacrificing for you, her employer.
You should be honored to have such a person working for you.
She could be out there raking in the dough as a spokesmodel or a ranch hand or some such thing but, no, she has decided she would rather eschew the self-indulgent, rat-race mentality to make the world a better place to live.
Indeed, you should not only be honored that she is taking a little time to rejuvenate herself, you should thank her for doing so.
Just like you should thank her husband for the privilege of paying taxes.
That said, the Obama's are free to act as they wish and live with the political consequences.
This at a time when the US is incurring record levels of debt.

The Obama presidency is all about Revenge.
Revenge for imagined slights against their race.
Revenge against the companies and capitalists that they think looked down on them and their cadre for decades,
Revenge for not having all the things that the ultra rich had flaunted.
The envy and racial attributions are what drives these folks to obsessive extravagance. They will live as large or larger as they imagined their white “oppressors” did just to make it “fair”.
