WASHINGTON (AP) - These were supposed to be heady days for African-Americans in Congress, with President Barack Obama occupying the White House and a half dozen blacks holding powerful committee chairmanships and leadership jobs. Yet the past two weeks have been more of a nightmare.
Two of Congress' most senior African-Americans, Democratic Reps. Charles Rangel of New York and Maxine Waters of California, are fighting to save their reputations and quite possibly their jobs over ethics allegations. On Tuesday night, seven-term Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick of Michigan was ousted in the Democratic primary, and several other lawmakers have lost bids for higher office or struggled to get traction.

I’ve long wondered what would happen if we had a Congressional White Caucus. I believe the blacks would go into orbit and scream bloody murder. WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THIS EQUALITY WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE NOW THAT WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT?
I believe that blacks (some) are their own worst enemies.

Something the left knows nothing about these days; hence their abject failure. If and only if they can get back to respecting the individual; they may have a chance. Until then, they are awash in debauchery because "individuals" with bad behavior will hide behind? Groups. They need to hold the individual accountable and they simply don't know how to do that anymore.
It sorta sucks when you can’t hide your corruption behind your skin color any longer doesn’t it?
