So here we are in 2010:

Abortion on demand

Building a mosque by the site of the worst incident of Islamic violence in our history

Out of control deficits "cured" with...bigger deficits

Russian spies traded away without allowing our intelligence agencies time to debrief

Federal government fighting a state trying to secure its border

A president in "the worst economy since the Depression" partying at the White House and being cheered on by the news media

Marriage between members of the same gender (something pro-gay people mocked as some silly rightwing fantasy not too long ago)

This is our nation.

What part of a Federal District Court judge overturned the will of the voters of the State of California who VOTED to make marriage between one man and one women don't you understand???

It won't be long before the 9th Circuit weighs in.

I'm sure they'll help out. I think the 9th Circuit meets in the Castro District in San Fransisco, right?

These are the "little bit higher class" types if they want to get married ~ they'll demand CLEAN RESTROOMS.

"Nearest" doesn't necessarily qualify.

Where in the Constitution does it say that marriage is a right?

The states are going to have to take on the feds. Go to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals if you want, but their liberal record is too promising.

If that doesn’t work, forget about SCOTUS and start an initiative immediately for CA to nullify and not recognize this utterly unconstitutional and invalid decision from a rogue federal government.

The liberals have been allowed to define this issue as discrimination against gays. It is not, it is discrimination against an act or series of sexual acts. We discriminate routinely against other activities. Is it discrimination to have laws against drug use, against theft, against ritual murder. Gays do not contribute to society, they do not propagate and provide future generations. They simple practice a sexual act for selfish gratification until they get so old Viagra does not help. If all the gays were put on an island, they would disappear in a generation. Honestly, sharia law is looking better every day. This POS of a judge claims his sexual proclivity played no part in his decision, that is BS. To rule for Prop 8 he would of had to admit HE participates in inappropriate and unprotected activities. Of course his desire for other men’s derriere played a part in his decision.

George Michael is a rock star worth millions and he was picked up more than once picking up tricks at public restrooms in public parks....classy.

But yes, ordinarily, you’re right, only the best designer restrooms in the chicest joints will do...

Does the article mention that the “Judge” is gay as a 3 dollar bill?

This should not go to the 9th Circus, if SOCTUS rules against Prop 8, it will in effect wipe out DOMA and make all gay marriage legal nationwide, leave this a California issue.

I honestly do not care if people are gay or what turns them on sexually. Just stay out of my life and leave my faith and moral beliefs alone. I will not tell you how to live do not tell me how I am to live.

Facinating how our Founders, courts, Congresses, Presidents missed this for well over 200 years, that Gay marriage is a Constitutional right.

This judge is legally and intellectually bankrupt.

The Equal Protection clause of the 14th Amendment does indeed apply to all people - but it is ludicrous to assert that the framers of that amendment meant that to include behavior that [to them] was a crime against society, a crime against nature, and a crime against God.

Just because the language does not disallow it does not mean that it is there to permit it ...

Okay, am I really the only one thinking about a serious secession movement now?

“Secession” should be the next “seal the borders.” It should start getting spoken aloud by candidates NOW.

I say this as a guy who always thought elections and States’ Rights would always force reconciliation. I’m done believing that anything short of revolution will ever change things for the better.

The first statewide or national candidate who openly contemplates secession gets the maximum donation from me, even if I have to take out a loan.

...and while we're on the subject of equal protection under the law, meat is murder, and the agenda of NAMBLA must become law!

Just stay out of my life and leave my faith and moral beliefs alone.

What people don't understand is it will never stop there. The Bible clearly condemns sodomy and calls it sin. The gay agenda includes making the Bible illegal as "hate speech.”

Do you have children/grandchildren? The LAW will require your kindergartners to learn gay lifestyles as normal. You don't think sympathy for homosexual pedophile behavior isn't around the corner?

Guess what? If anyone in your family wants to have a child adopted, the gay agenda includes FORCED ADOPTION into gay families.

This is only the beginning. It’s a parade of horribles and a slippery slope that doesn't end until you reach Hades.
