You wouldn't be surprised. You suspect. But you don't really know anything, or refer us to people who do, do you?

None of my ancestors were southerners BTW, and I'm not one either. I've just read a lot since high school, and found that most of that stuff about "Honest Abe" and the Glorious Union that we were taught isn't all there is to learn.
