Missouri voters have strongly approved a new law that rejects a key provision of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.
Tuesday's vote approving the ballot measure is seen as largely symbolic because federal law generally trumps state law. But it could portend trouble for the Democratic Party in November's midterm election.

Thanks for the post, and YES to MO.
Yes!
I was one of those who voted “Yes” on Prop C! We took a stand against Obamacare and unconstitutional federal tyranny!
You did good but according to the AP your vote was just “symbolic”.
Which is "largely symbolic" until the SCOTUS throws it out because it is unconstitutional.
At this moment, with 3 counties unreported, all counties except 1 have repudiated ObamaCare (tm). This should be an earthquake, but the left will do all it can to deny and spin it away. The voters rarely voice their opinion in such a broad and consistent manner.
November or Never!
I have a ‘symbolic’ gesture for the 0bamanation and I can see November from my house!
LOL. Except when the federal law is unconstitutional. Symbolic my a$$. The sphincter muscles for the Dems in Congress are starting to pucker. Let them defend their vote for Obamacare.
Did they leave out the margin of victory just in case the Dems aren’t wearing their Depends when they read the news?
This display of common sense will help make up for the Show Me State electing a dead Senator a few years back.

The Obama Regime picks and chooses which Fed laws it will or will not obey, so why should not States pick and choose which Fed laws they will or will not obey?
LOL!

What this result says to me is that every state where the Republicans or independents can do so should try and get a referendum on Obamacare on the November ballot. This will bring out more conservative constitutionalists and help defeat the Democrats.
Obamacare is in. They’ll never let it go until they can replace it with something more extensive such as the public option. The Republicans lost their chance a few years ago when they failed to take measures to lower health care costs when they had the power.
“largely symbolic because federal law generally trumps state law”
Oh ya? Since when?
I did too.
Missouri leads!
