Clash? Her contributions to the Environmental Defense Fund, comments about Van Jones, and saying she "supports the goals" of AB32 would suggest she's as loony as the rest of them.

Shultz went off the deep-end years ago.

Let's all hope that his post as campaign co-chairman is more honorary than real.

It's a shame to see a great man like George Shultz lose his fastball like that. Makes me wonder how many marbles I'll have left when I'm 89 years old.

If I recall correctly former U.S. secretary of State George P. Shultz was then, and is now a Globalist!
It's not his age, it's his allegiances that I don't like about him.

Seems to me the smartest things to do would be to continue to develop our own sources of oil/naturalgas/coal. Imagine if the United States would do that and the resulting supply/reserves between the US and Canada would dwarf OPEC. Maybe even produce so much we could begin to redress the huge trade imbalance between us and China. This would also insulate us from price shocks and kick the economy into high gear.

Of course, that makes too much sense. Why have stable energy prices, 2% unemployment and astronomical growth when we can have fear, uncertainty and doubt?

George Schultz is a feeble old man. He was once a good guy in the Reagan days but he's 89 years old. He hasn't a clue about how destructive AB32 is.

If I had to guess George Schultz is whoring for a lot of the big money guys up on Sand Hill Road (south of SF). Those Venture Capitalists have a ton of money invested in fraud (in my opinion) companies that are supposed to be Green Technologies. These guys want to keep the fraud going long enough so they can do IPOs on these companies and get their money back. These companies will NEVER make money without government subsidies and they know it. They also know that green energy is so expensive that they only way it's viable is to make other forms of energy expensive as well. This is where AB32 comes in. The goal is to make other forms of energy so expensive that the pitiful green companies can stay in business long enough for for the IPO. The whole thing will crash one day just like the DOT-COM thing did.

This is where the old fool George Schultz comes in. They have enlisted him to fight off Proposition 23 will which will essentially stop AB32, at least for a while and probably some time. They think by bringing him in they will have credibility. He's being used by the Sand Hill Road Sharks.

If you are from California, then you should get involved with passing Proposition 23. It's absolutely the most important proposition in many years. Also it's a chance to stick a finger in Arnold Schwarzenegger's eye as a parting shot.

She’s a rank amateur. Why else would she have George Schultz as co-chair of her campaign. Although I’d never vote for “moonbeam,” the difference in the two candidates appears to be marginal.

Shultz, 89, has been there, done a lot and thought through much..

Now he has decided to save the universe from dead dinosaurs.

Meg Whitman will support Clinton for president
The Hill ^ | August 2, 2016 | Rebecca Savransky
A Hewlett-Packard executive and Republican fundraiser said Tuesday she will back Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for president. Meg Whitman said she plans to give a “substantial” contribution to Clinton’s campaign to make sure Republican nominee Donald Trump doesn’t become the next president....
