Rush Limbaugh: There Is No Proof Tomorrow Is President Obamas Birthday
by Frances Martel | 2:16 pm, August 3rd, 2010
Happy Birthday, President Obama! Tomorrow, our 44th president turns 49, and Rush Limbaugh would really love to wish him many happy returns, sincerely. Actually, thats not true: This morning, Limbaugh refused to send good wishes to the President, because he doesnt believe tomorrow is his birthday, since we havent seen any proof of that.
Limbaughs relationship with the birther movement is quite sophisticated hes never quite outright called himself a birther or legitimized their claims, but once in a while will make an indirect, tongue-in-cheek reference to an irrelevant topic that ties it together with the birther conspiracy (ie, Obama would get deported in Arizona). This works for him because it is entertaining, not bold enough to get him in hot water with the Republican Party, and just bold enough to make the birthers think hes in on it. No one who would call Limbaugh out on flirting with the birthers would not have already condemned him for some other comment he has made on his show, which minimizes the possible damage. Its a dance that many, most recently Louisiana Senator David Vitter, try to engage in with little success, but Limbaugh manages to balance rather skillfully.
Todays birther nod was embedded in what began like a birthday message but ended as a condemnation of Democratic fundraisers exploitative tactics, taking a detour through Birther Square along the way:
Tomorrow is Obamas birthday not that weve seen any proof of that but tomorrow is Obamas birthday, and theyre trying to rally Obamas base by sending out fundraising letters what? What? We havent seen any proof of that! Sorry, it is what it is.

LOL
Well I am glad you came to your senses then. All the Best!
It’s true!
It tastes like Shiite but, I keep hoping.
A solid conservative principle few around here would quarrel with. But on the other hand, if you are trying to argue that Obama, by his birth, is a British subject, the good people of Great Britain would consider him the opposite of loyal to the crown. At times, he has treated them with open hostility.
This issue needs to be pushed and addressed.
I am all for states tightening/enforcing their requirements for candidates to be placed on ballots.
Wow
Does everyone know about this?
I agree. I don’t think he is eligible. My problem is with the people who lable anyone who questions his documentation as a birther or part of a fringe group.
Holy moly! What was the upshot of this? Is there any indication that little Barry’s birth certificate or any other evidence of his status was provided?
OK, I went to the thread and saw the assertions, but no proof. It seems to me that they would have wanted to see a BC for the little guy. (By the way, that second one had a nasty L key, didn’t it? These are either good forgeries or real, but in either case, it’s not documentary proof of birth status.)
If you were trying to quote me, I didn't say that.
It was from the letter.
That works both ways.
Folks who think it's all wasted effort are labeled as Obama supporters.
Huge rift that serves no good purpose to our side.
Stanley Ann Soetoro provided a copy of her birth certificate but there is no documentation she presented a birth certificate of her alleged son. This is very odd.
There is a memo but no proof.
I'm truly amazed how you can successfully patrol the threads for "blog pimps" and yet have enough sh** in your guts to crap on Rush threads..........
But then again, your being full of it is common knowlege.....
F' OFF THREAD HIJACKER!
If you want to read the entire FOIA release that was excerpted from:
Very true.
I don't care who you are, that's funny right there! /Larry the Cable Guy
