Is the WikiLeaks leak a crime worthy of the death penalty? It might not sound like it at face value, but Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, makes the case.
In an interview aired on WHMI 93.5 in Livingston, Mich., Rogers makes the case for capital punishment to be applied in the case of Private Bradley Manning, who according to Rogers looks to be guilty of treason in time of war and that is a capital crime worthy of a death sentence.
Rogers explained the root of the problem theres exists a desire to make everything in government transparent.
There is a serious and growing problem within the government of this I call it the culture of disclosure, where if you dont like something or you think you dont like something, Rogers said. In many cases the information that causes the leak is not accurate is they have such a small portion of the whole picture. Its hard to make a decision with just one piece of the puzzle, but they do it often and this was the same example.
But by carrying that culture of disclosure to that point, he endangered people and should be charged with treason if not treason, then murder.
He releases this information to a third party who they say will make the determination that there is nothing harmful in it, Rogers continued. Well, we know for a fact that people will likely be killed because of this information being disclosed. Thats pretty serious. I would absolutely if they wont charge him with treason, they ought to charge him with murder.
But Rogers stuck to his belief that treason was the appropriate charge.

Death is often the punishment for a treason charge.
maybe that’s why he is hiding out alone in Chicago at his OWN home for his b-day

How about an investigation, prosecution, and appropriate punishment for the treasonous plot unfolding via the current Regime and the co-conspirators in Congress? There are Enemies Within this government; top to bottom.
Yes, yes, YES!
Start ticket sales now - it’ll be a sellout for the execution.
Exactly!!
Then he will have a target on his forehead as do his counterparts.
If there’s any truth to the claim that the White Palace was in any way involved with this treasonous act, it is time to impeach and convict the president. This isn’t about sex with an intern, or telling lies to a grand jury, it’s about people who will die because of this. Everyone who is involved, from the top to the bottom, has/will have blood on his hands. This cannot be allowed to be swept under the rug.
A nation that doesn’t deal with its traitors ends up electing them to office.
We need to find out if Obozo is a democrat. If he is, then their is no point in charging him. Clinton gave secret missile technology to the chinese and zip nada nothing happened to him and that transfer could cost millions of US lives.
I agree and this guy including Wikileaks owner should be tried for treason.
Problem of course is that for our Generals and Admirals Victory is not an option and they would much rather cry... Brave Soldier Brave Marine as good men and women die needlessly. All while while shedding a Clintonian Tear.
One other aspect that cannot be ignored is the inability of our Military Intelligence and Counter Intelligence Officers as well as Communications Officers to prevent such leaks to begin with. The informations release along with all these videos of Attack Helicopters and Jets on bombing runs that make their way to You Tube etc should have never reached the public in the first place.

I agreee with Rep. Mike Rogers.
IOW, he's an overnight star with the Left/Democrats...which was probably his motivation.
Unless you count Christians and patriotic Americans.
Perhaps not, but the fact he's not an American, and he's not in the US *does* alter the equation, right?
I was of the impression that treason was turning against your own nation, not publishing sensitive data from another.
My mistake, I misread the article. Yes, it appears the PFC did commit a treasonous act by giving those documents to a third party.
