A couple in Bothell have been targeted in a campaign that involves destroying signs supporting Republican candidates, and replacing them with signs for RepublicansAreADisease.com.
The website, which is an anonymous wordpress blog, encourages it's readers to print out signs reading, "Republicans Are A Disease" and "Republicans America's Worst Enemy" and place them on their own and public property, and to "tell their neighbors how they feel about the criminals in the GOP."
The website does not say to destroy other people's property or to replace republican signs with the anti-GOP signs.
This did not stop the destruction of the signs in the yard of the Vietnam veteran and his wife.

Infect them with Kooties (at least the heard hearted ones) and the rest with Freedom if you can!
Yes. And so believing that giving the government more power will fix the problem is pretty stupid.
"This side towards liberal"
Poison Ivy - a great idea! And realistic.
Do yard signs actually DO anything?
Do they convince ANYONE of ANYTHING?
Shotgun: birdshot or buckshot, depending on your preference.
They are, after all, trespassing, and the “I don’t know anything” excuse works without ballistics.
Silly paintballs don’t impress.
I think we know what each other meant.
You’d be suprised.
cyanide coated plutonium birdshot
...and there is no cure.
You could probably just collect a bunch of the leaves, soak’em in alcohol or water, and make a solution, even a sprayable solution that you could spray on the signs or anything you didn’t want touched. In fact, now that I come to think about it, you could probably sell something like that, although someone would undoubtedly sue you for giving them poison ivy.
Hmmm ... and they call us the intolerant ones? Interesting.
Or suRprised.
I have never paid attention to anyone’s yard signs.
I can’t imagine the mentality of anyone who has.
“Oh! There’s a sign! I’ll vote THAT way!”
Who is that idiotic?
Liberals can only tear down. They can never build any thing.
I’m thinking I’m going to take November 2 off from work and keep an eye on my polling place.
They are useful for building name recognition, which is important for new or local-level candidates. I don't think they change anyone's mind.
” make a solution, “
I’m sure you could. But just rubbin’ stuff with the leaves and cut stalks/branches is really simple and quick. I just waited until the little punks were in school, walked into my backyard and got the ivy. 10 minutes tops. Unfortunately, you still lose (loose) the signs when they steal them, but, believe me, the satisfaction of seeing the Calamine covered arms and hands was worth the loss!
