All I can say is PC is in play - the thought/intent police. I don’t believe any poster reading your post - thought in any way - you were making fun of any being killed. And if they did, it is them that needs to search an angry heart, IMO.

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones”.

If everyone carried this would have been a 1-2 death situation.

From the fox story at: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/08/03/dead-wounded-conn-workplace-shooting/

"FOX61 in Hartford is reporting that the shooting may have been racially motivated, and that Thornton reportedly told his girlfriend that he had been discriminated against, and that a supervisor did nothing."

Is it this Omar Thornton? Looks likely: http://www.facebook.com/people/Omar-Thornton/100000705746941

If you have a facebook account you will see this info:

Looks like the murderer was striking back at the perceived racism of his coworkers.

The media is already interviewing a former girlfriend of the murderer who is backing up the story.

Looks like the MSM is going to throw the deceased under the bus - implying that they received their comeuppance - rather than focusing on the fact that the murderer was a paranoid, whiny lunatic.

It usually turns out to be someone who is unlicensed to own a gun, killing people in places where guns are banned. Hence, the only person with a gun is the shooter and there is no responsible gun owner there to stop thw shooting.

Time to ban workplaces.

They're working on it.

Thank you for your kind post.

I don’t think I know anyone that works there, but I am sure it is going to affect the surrounding communities (including my own).

Short blip on fox - the guy was losing his job. I only heard it once, and they never reported that part again.

Let’s hope the family/friends/workers of the deceased DO NOT let that happen.

Nine people are dead in a workplace shooting at a family-owned beer and wine wholesaler, police said.

Sources said Omar S. Thornton, 34, was a driver for Hartford Distributors and was described by a Teamsters Union official as a recent hire and a “disciplinary problem.”

“The union was bringing him in to meet with the company to remedy the problem,” said John Hollis, a Teamsters official. “He started shooting.”

They got him. He'll never be able to hurt anyone else ever again.
A union employee and big Oboma guy.

Me too.

I'm reading through the thread trying to get information, and have to read through tasteless, insipid, 10 year old attempts at humor. It's disgusting.

May God be with the families of all who have died in this act of terror.

Geesh now they saying the shooter was black and was complaining of rascism at work before the shooting.

aye yi yi...will this nightmare created by OZero’s team ever end?

The shooter had disciplinary problems and was going to get fired so he went off the deep end. Unbelievable most likely inspired by the recent rascist DOJ we have.
