SABATON – „Uprising“ video trailer online!
A teaser of the upcoming video clip "Uprising" by Swedish epic power metal superstars SABATON has been broadcasted on Polish TV this week!

The clip, marking one of the biggest productions in heavy metal, features famous Hollywood actor Peter Stomare (8MM, Fargo, The Big Leboswki etc) and is about the Warsaw Uprising in 1944!
The clip will premiere on August first, the anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising in Poland and worldwide on August 3 via MySpace

I heard about Sabaton here, and I’m glad I did. Their criterion seems to be valor — on one CD, Ghost Division about the Wehrmacht, 40:1 about the Poles fighting the Wehrmacht, a song about the Red Army crushing the Wehrmacht, and one about the Finns fighting the Red Army.
They’ve also written songs about the Battle of Midway, the assault on Monte Cassino, and D-Day.
I stand corrected. I guess I don’t know my history as well as I thought.
Time to crack the ol’ books again.
