WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Fifty-seven percent of likely U.S. voters think recently enacted healthcare reform is bad for the country, a Rassmussen Reports poll indicates.

The percentage who think the reform is bad for the country is the highest level of disapproval since the poll began tracking the law following its March passage by Congress.

In contrast, 32 percent say healthcare reform is good for the country.

Make it 58%...no one ever asked me about what I thought, so my vote will at least add 1% of the tilt.

You must be a pretty big person!

Who decides if one qualifies?

Maybe the group votes - like Lost.

Or, maybe the audience - like American Idol.

Or, best yet, maybe I choose!

Woooo!

When I’m in charge of hell, Barry Manilow will be played 24/7, The View will be the sole TV show, and the only food available will be boiled okra! BWAHAHAHAHA!

And here is more detail from Rasmussen about this poll:

Health Care Law (59% favor repeal — all time high! , 57% think bad for country — Rasmussen)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2563423/posts

UPI is trying to downplay it: “Most support for repeal comes from Republicans and independents.” — as if that wouldn’t count.

No, it is MY day to decide! Not you, not Oprah, and damn sure not Barry Manilow, not even in hell!

Now with that boiled okra, add a little fish and shrimp, a few spices and voila, gumbo.

AKA "ObamaScare" or even better, "ObamaScarce"

True, but in Obama's socialist utopia there's no such thing as scarcity. From each according to his ability, and to each according to his "need."

Maybe what you mean is theoretically no scarcity. Nevertheless, this is not true:

1) In theory: The "progressives" really don't care about the "masses." As a Communist sympathizer used to repeat to me over and over again, "The masses are asses." To the true Marxist, the individual counts for nothing. Only the state counts. (Translation: "We are the ones we have been waiting for." And "we" are the "state," the ruling class, the "haves" of society.)

2) In fact: Socialist/Marxist governments remain on the ash heap of history as total and utter failures of societal well being for everyone except the ruling elite who care for nothing other than the perpetuation of their own power. For years, those needing immediate medical attention, who were able, have come to the United States because of SCARCITY of hospitals, hospital beds, and adequate medical services in their own countries with socialized medicine.

What happened to the 73% who were against it passing?

1920. NATIONALLY. But not state-wise.

1932.

Poor case.

“The people are waking up.”

I think the idiocy of this law didn’t strike home to some until they saw the Brownback and Brady organizational chart. It makes HillaryCare look lean and efficient!

“Four months after U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi famously declared “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it,”a congressional panel has released the first chart illustrating the 2,801 page health care law President Obama signed into law in March.

Developed by the Joint Economic Committee minority, led by U.S Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas and Rep. Kevin Brady of Texas, the detailed organization chart displays a bewildering array of new government agencies, regulations and mandates.” More at Congressman Kevin Brady (TX08)…http://www.house.gov/apps/list/press/tx08_brady/pr_100728_hc_chart.html
