Rove is such a Wuss!
8/2/2010 | vanity

He's on with Hemmer/Martha and he thinks Palin was out of line using 'cojones' to describe what's needed and what the AZ gov has and Obama doesn't!

Rove stinks. And his amnesty push does too.

“Not according to your “Big tent” explanation for accepting a moderate position. You only think you are more Conservative.”

My position has never been “moderate.” I don’t believe in the big-tent type of republicanism. Anyone in the party should stand by the complete platform and LIVE by the same principles.

Obviously, you are not a very keen “observer” of my thinking. It is for this reason that I stated that I disagree with politicians and/or pundits at times. I will not, however, throw away perfectly GOOD ideas simply because I disagree with someone on another issue.

We cannot stop some form of legalization from happening-

Yes, we can stop it. It is people like you who make it difficult but throwing in the towel because A: you think it is too hard or B: Because you are really a pro illegal yourself.

There is nothing we cannot do, and as for kicking them all out we have done it before and can do it again. The key is electing people who have the cojones(or balls if you prefer) to carry out the laws of this country and to protect the American public.

Legal immigration is already changing the electoral balance and demography of this country. The status quo will guarantee that the Dems will become the permanent majority party. They don't need amnesty, which will only hasten the process.

Rove works for the moderate liberals and is part of the problem and has NEVER been part of the solution.

If that statement bothers you, then what are you gonna do when they go all out commie on us.... I mean really....

Speak like a mature adult who can refrain from using gutter talk in a public forum to make a point?

If you don't cringe at the thought of children hearing vulgar talk coming from a one who should inspire makes you not so different from most progressives I know on the subject

The illegals are everywhere. Very few miss that observation.

Truth is, if they get amnesty, whatever the real numbers there are, they will also get to bring their whole families.

Americans will be the minority. No doubt about it.

We can and we will expel them... or the Union will split. Ike did it and so can we... if we take over the government through the ballot box and save this once Great Nation. As a matter of fact... they will expel themselves if we make jobs impossible and staying here as painful as we can. Otherwise... some of us will live in Freedom and Liberty... some of us will not... one way or the other.

If it was wasn’t for Rove we’d have 8 years of Gore or Kerry.

And if we hadn't had eight years of GWB preparing us for Obama, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in.

"You also forgot to add, that they will elect their own kind, and instead of them having to learn and speak English, it will be us who has to learn and speak Spanish."

That's what happened in Miami. The politicians were knocking each other out of the way to kow tow to the flood of immigrants. They got paid off by being kicked out of office & replaced - by guess who???

Check out the street signs & signs on the stores & businesses too.. It pays to know & speak Spanish if you want a decent job.

I see Hispanics over time as more “conservative” than blacks - don't you?

They are already more conservative than blacks. Republicans get about 30% of the Hispanic vote compared to <10% of the black vote. But that Hispanic vote is coming mostly from well established Hispanics who've been in the US for many generations.

The more recent arrivals vote heavily Dim, and the more that are legalized, the more illegals who will follow them and after a very few decades an open borders situation will have been created.

It is beyond absurd to try to out-pander the Dims by supporting ANOTHER amnesty, that will doubtless be followed by another one as the more illegals who are given citizenship, the greater will be the pressure to not enforce immigration law, and to allow higher and higher legal immigration. That's a part of the "fix our broken immigration system": higher and higher numbers of legal immigrants and higher numbers of work permits, so that anyone who wants to can come to the US legally, thus, no more illegal immigration. Just legalize everything..

Try to out-pander the Dims and you play right into their hands, and will give them voting majorities for several generations to come, if not permanently.

Republicans should appeal to all voters with the same message. Anything else will just increase the vote for the Dims.

Where and when did I offer such a solution?

But it sounds like you’re offering no solution, other than, “There must be a solution someplace in the middle.”

The largest concentration of vietnamese in the country is 5 miles from where I live. Their community is very insular and is roughly 50% on public assistance.

The program you referenced didn't seem to do them much good.

I’m a Palin supporter, but I voice my complaints with her from time to time as well. She’s not perfect and she’s not going to be—but she certainly isn’t stupid.

This case is an example of Republicans actually giving Obama too much credit but suggesting he’s merely weak or inept. That really doesn’t get at the harm that he intends and has largely succeeded in bringing about.

But better that she’s bringing him to task in such fashion—and knows how to get press coverage on it—than most other national Republicans who either give him a task or are ineffectual in getting heard.

Rove stinks. And his amnesty push does too.

Rove sees every issue through the lens of the GOP attracting/repelling voters. ...or potential voters. That's how he's wired. It's all power politics. I doubt he has any core principles.

Palin is smart, but she is not wise. Perhaps that will come with time.
