I wasn’t sure how much I could post and you can watch a 30 sec. video and go on through to the story.

Sorry edcoil - the Journal is just terrible about that. They don’t seem to understand that people that don’t pay for the print version will NOT pay for the online version!

Do you know how much I can post? I don’t want to get Jim in trouble like he’s having with the Las Vegas paper....

The ABQ Journal is listed under the “excerpt” category on the copyright list. The general rule (as it has been explained to me by a moderator) is you can generally excerpt up to one-third of an article or a maximum of 300 words, whichever is less. The exceptions are AP-linked articles which are generally limited to a sentence or two. Now that means if an article is 600 words long, you get to excerpt up to 200. If you use Firefox as your browser, they have a neat little add-on called “Word Count Plus” that counts the words in any highlighted selection.
