When I lined out all the academic folderol I was left with he is or was a doctor of medicine (who was smart enough to flee Canadad’s national managed death care) and a doctor of laws (and may or may not be a practicing attorney). Give a choice between someone who has demonstrated legislative ability and a pointy-head, I will pick the person with demonstated ability every time.
