WASHINGTON (AP) - A House investigative panel has decided to charge Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters of California with ethics violations, raising the possibility of a second high-profile political trial this fall. People familiar with the investigation, who were not authorized to be quoted about unannounced charges, say the allegations could be announced next week. The House ethics committee declined Friday to make any public statement on the matter.
Waters has been under investigation for a possible conflict of interest involving a bank that was seeking federal aid. Her husband owned stock in the bank.

Hmmm... It looks like Pelosi is stacking the deck to give her cover from arguments that she has failed to “drain the swamp” during her years as speaker.

She’s being charged right now, at this particular time, to give Rangel grounds to claim he is caught up in a racist conspiracy.
It’s always a conspiracy when the progressives get busted but that game like the race card,it won’t play any more.
Maxine is bulletproof in her district. The only way to get her out is feet first or in hand cuffs.
