The thing about many of these newer builds, especially at that level, they aren't like houses. They are more like big apartments. No storage, no driveways, no yards.

Noting that the story said that the pickup "wouldn't fit" in the garage, I infer that the reason for this is that his garage is filled up with a bunch of his stuff.

I know mine is.

Garages have been smaller over the years. My Dodge 1500 is 1 inch too long to fit a standard garage these days and it is a standard length bed.
