While waiting for your next bus, you may have an urge to prepare yourself to wait for Jesus. Bus benches around Colorado Springs say: "Save the Date: Return of Christ, May 21, 2011."
Marie Exley of Colorado Springs paid for these ads with her own money after seeing a similar billboard in Texas even though she's in between jobs.
"I decided to try to go out on my own and do what I could to get the message out myself," says Exley.
She says her job until Judgment Day is to spread the word.
"It's basically by faith I'm going out there and putting myself out there and allow people to think I'm crazy. I'm sure people in Noah's days thought he was crazy," says Exley.
The ads were made by the people who created the website WeCanKnow.com, based out of Ohio. The site is dedicated to telling people of the return of Jesus Christ.
A spokesperson for the website says the date comes from the Bible and having an understanding of God's Word as He reveals it to people.
Jerry Jenkins co-authored the fictional "Left Behind" book series, which chronicles the Earth's final days. Jenkins says he believes we should also be ready for the return of Christ, but he doesn't believe in a set date.
"If Jesus himself doesn't know when He's returning, I don't think we know either," says Jenkins. "I think its folly to predict the timing, but yeah, I think it's a great discussion and I applaud anyone who brings up the subject."
The bus benches in Colorado Springs will be up for about three months.
As you wait for your next bus, save the date. By the way, May 21, 2011 is a Saturday.
Please explain ... I am unfamiliar with Jewish feasts and their purposes, etc. ... Thanks
Like I said They just making it up out of thin air.

F.Y.I. Only . . . nothing more, nothing less.
Yah'shua celebrated his last passover,shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
a YHvH commanded Feast day, on the evening of the 14th of Nisan.
where He gave new meaning to the third cup of wine and the afikomenHe died on the YHvH commanded feast of Hag HaMatzot-Unleavened Bread
the 15th of Nisan, where all leaven, a metaphor for sin, is removed. He rose from the dead on the YHvH commanded Feast day of First Fruits
(Hag ha Bikkurim) which occurs on the day following the shabbat following Passover.
Most likely at the beginning of the G-d commanded day at sundown after shabbat.
This is the day that the best of the harvest is offered to G-d.Easter has no connection whatever to Yah'shua; it is a Pagan Fable.
The creation of Easter by Constantine is an affront to the creator of the universe
and the sacrifice offered for all of mankind for the redemption of sin.The Spirit of G-d descended on the apostles on the YHvH commanded Feast of Shavuot
also known as Pentecost in the LXX.The next YHvH commanded Feast to be re-celebrated is the Feast of Trumpets,
on the first day of the month of Tishrei,
The only Feast for which the day nor hour can not be known until it arrives. All of this information can be found in G-d's Holy Word in Leviticus 23
Kinda the way I'm leaning.
Rosh Hoshanah or Jewish New Year also known as The Feast Of TRUMPETS. It is also the day of memorial and day of JUDGEMENT.
Israel became a nation in the Jewish year of 5708. If we believe that the "generation" Christ talked about was to be 70 years, his return would be in 5778. If we hold to a 7 year tribulation, subtract 7 years from 5778 and we have 5771.
Rosh Hoshanah 5771 is Sept 9&10, 2010
In ancient Israel, no one knew EXACTLY when Rosh Hoshanah began. Watchmen would wait to see the new moon, and then blow trumpets to announce its beginning. So basically, no man knew the day or hour, that Rosh Hoshanah would begin.
I'm not SETTING a date. I'm looking at the signs I'm seeing, and trying to be ready. If it happens before...great, if it doesn't...thats ok, to. The Bible tells us that Christ returns. It tells us what will happen before he returns. Today, things are lining up for prophecies fulfilment. Whether estimates to the "exact" day are close or not, is really moot. We know by the signs that the day is close.

shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiachFrom the YHvH commanded Feast of Trumpets in 2008
until the Feast of Trumpets 2015 is a Rabbinical sabbatical cycle.According to the Book of Jubilees, the sabbatical cycle
is offset by two years,
beginning at the Feast of Trumpets of 2010.The number of the Psalm maps to the 20th century.
2011 maps to Psalm 111.
Psalm 111 begins with Hallelu'yah
Psalm 112 begins with Hallelu'yah
Psalm 113 begins with Hallelu'yahPsalm 114 does not have Hallelu'yah
Psalm 115 ends with Hallelu'yah
Psalm 116 ends with Hallelu'yah,
Psalm 117 ends with Hallelu'yah
It appears to be a menorah without YHvH as the servant lamp !A seven year period without YHvH at the center ( anti-christ ? )
Psalm 118 is Messianic.
We are given three score and ten years.(Psalm 90:10)
Threescore and ten years for Israel is 2018.During this Sabbatical cycle as is spelled out in Joel, Acts and Revelation,
there will be Solar and Lunar Eclipses on YHvH commanded Feast Days.Joel2:31 "The sun will be turned into darknessSee: This link:
And the moon into blood
Before the great and awesome day of YHvH comes.Acts 2:20 'THE SUN WILL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS
AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THE GREAT AND
GLORIOUS DAY OF YHvH SHALL COME.21 'AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS
ON THE NAME OF YHvH WILL BE SAVED.'Revelation 6:12 I looked when He broke the sixth seal,
and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became
black as sackcloth made of hair,
and the whole moon became like blood;
Solar and Lunar Eclipses in 2014/15and this link and video
The most likely date for the rapture is the Feast of Trumpets
of 2010 as I believe that the anti-Christ
will commit the abomination of desolation
at Pesach of 2014 which is 3 1/2 years
into the seven year cycle.
I'm always interested in learning about ancient Jewish holidays and traditions.
As a gentile believer I feel so left out not knowing my faiths Jewish roots. I think the Bible would make A LOT more sense if we all knew its Jewish roots and traditions.
Book it against all such similar predictions hence, from time immemorial.
Over here, sv!

Really hate to break it to them, but Matthew 24:36 states quite emphatically:
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Even Christ did not know, the ONLY one who does know is God, the Father. I think God can keep secrets a wee bit better than this group supposes.
While I believe that no MAN knoweth - if the Father, Son & Holy Ghost (Spirit) are one, a Holy Trinity, how is it possible to “hide” something from one of the others?
What I’m saying is - I believe the Father, Son & Holy Ghost DO know - but it is not for MAN to know.
Because, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are ONE.
I know - circular logic is circular, but Jesus spoke that way, on purpose.
I have found Prophesy in the News to be a great resource.shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
This is going to be ONE interesting thread!
