Tea Party Patriots Unite Behind Mike Bouchard Bouchard announces his Tea Party Coalition
Oakland County Mike Bouchard, Republican candidate for governor, today announced his Tea Party Coalition comprised of numerous prominent Tea Party members from across the state. This announcement comes just days after Americas Toughest Sheriff Joe Arpaio endorsed Mike Bouchard for governor.
I am so pleased to have the support of these patriots, said Bouchard. They run a true grassroots effort in Michigan to protect our personal freedom and I applaud their efforts. I am a true constitutionalist and whether it is our states rights, personal property rights or the right to bear arms the federal government will know if they come to Michigan trying to trample our rights it will have a fight on its hands under a Bouchard administration.
Bouchard also gained attention for being the first in Michigan to stand with Arizona for enforcing their own illegal immigration law when the federal government failed to secure our borders and called for Michigan to adopt similar legislation.
Sheriff Bouchard is a true leader that has a proven track record of being a freedom fighter, said Janice Daniels of the Troy Area Tea Party. His knowledge of the constitution and his willingness to enforce it is why Michigan needs Mike Bouchard as governor. The Troy Area Tea Party is pounding the pavement for Sheriff Bouchard!
I have been fighting for tougher illegal immigration laws for Michigan for years and the only candidate who has been by my side is Sheriff Mike Bouchard, said Tamrya Lynn Murray of the Frankenmuth Tea Party. Sheriff Bouchard has been leading this issue before it was popular and I thank him for his service. I know Michigan will be a better place to live if Mike Bouchard is governor.
The Tea Party Coalition includes:
Southwest Michigan Tea Party Patriots Tea Party Patriots of West Oakland Willow Run Tea Party Caucus Gene Clem, President of Southwest Michigan Tea Party Patriots Doug Till, Vice President and Board Member of Southwest Michigan Tea Party Patriots Dennis Moore, Director of Willow Run Tea Party Caucus Ben DiPonio, Founder of Tea Party Patriots of West Oakland Joe Kubic, Core Member of Tea Party Patriots of West Oakland Susan Kotrys, Core Member of Tea Party Patriots of West Oakland Larry Recca, Core Member of Tea Party Patriots of West Oakland John Taylor, Administrator for Willow Run Tea Party Caucus Linda Dewitt, Recorder for Willow Run Tea Party Caucus Craig Hartsig, Founder of Central Macomb Patriots Kevin Chase, Director of Independent Tea Party Patriots Howard Alexnader, Leader of Troy Area Tea Party Janice Daniels, Leader of Troy Area Tea Party Minesh Baxi, Leader of Troy Area Tea Party Mike Konners, Leader of Troy Area Tea Party Stephanie Jasky, Founder & Director of FedUSA.org Tamyra Lynn Murray, Organizer of Frankenmuth Tea Party MaryBeth Erdmann, Organizer of Port Huron Tea Party Kathy Tucker, Organizer of Tri-City 9-12 of Mid-Michigan Debra Robinson, Committee Chair of Allegan Tea Party Patriots Jim McGiness, Steering Committee of We The People of Mid Michigan
Cox can't be trusted, and with the news about his getting a lap dance at Kwame Kilpatrick's party getting out we now know why he refuses to release his deposition testimony from that case. Snyder is seeking endorsements now from RINOs, so we know what he is all about. Hoekstra hasn't shown the guts in this race that Bouchard has. This primary is about the Tea Party constitutionalists nominating one of their own.
Go Mike Bouchard for Michigan Governor!
Thanks! Your explanation helps a lot.
He suggested I read The Rothschild Manifesto - 1840. Scary stuff.
Any FReepers out there who have read it and can put it into some kind of perspective?
still trying to determine the least of the evils in this race.. and only a few days left!
Hoekstra is a very solid choice.
What say you?
I like what I know but I just don’t see it happening. I think it will end up being Hoekstra.
The Tea party movement wasn’t formed to support candidates. It was created to eschew both parties, return the country to the Constitution, support limited government principles and address those issues that threaten the Constitution. Tea party groups endorsing candidates is a disturbing trend. It will result in the Tea party movement being incrementally folded into the OP(formerly the GOP).
bump for that!!!
The Free Press just endorsed him...kiss of death isn’t it?
I support Bouchard, but he is trailing rather badly. The latest poll out today has Snyder leading at 26 percent, followed by Cox at 24, and Hoekstra at 23. Bouchard in fourth at 10 percent. I’d rather see Hoekstra prevail over the liberal-moderate Snyder, and the somewhat slimy Cox...who has ties to the corrupt McNamara-Kilpatrick-Granholm axis.
I don’t in the end really trust these types of polls, as so many polls have been cooked in the past, and they are done over time and don’t show how the race is trending; it just gives the average. I do trust Bill Ballenger of Inside Michigan Politics. He indicates that “Bouchard appears to show the most upward movement.” Unfortunately you must be a subscriber to read the full story, which I am not. See his post at www.insidemichiganpolitics.com.
I’m tired of trying to “game” these primaries and select who I think can “win” by conventional analysis. I’m convinced we’ll have a different makeup of the primary voters this election due to the Tea Parties that is not reflected in the sampling used for these polls. I believe Bouchard is leading and will win, if we have the courage to vote our convictions and not give in to “conventional wisdom.”
As a core member of the TEA Party Patriots of West Oakland County, I have been inundated with requests by members asking whom we were endorsing. After weeks of analysis by our vetting committee they unanimously agreed that Mike Bouchard most closely represented our core values: Fiscal Responsibility, Free Markets and Limited Government. Bouchard wants a part time Legislature and is for LESS spending and individual rights. He is the ONLY candidate that will fight to make Michigan a “Right to Work” state. We must get the right candidate through the primary if we are going to make a difference in November. Those who choose to sit on the sidelines have no voice in the future of our state.
He’s way too far behind in the polls. I’m sticking with the “tough nerd”, Rick Snyder. WE NEED A WIN in Michigan.
