AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Ever wonder why you hardly ever see poor oil covered animal pictures in the State Run Media?

If W. was in office they’d be front page every day...

A responds:

Cryptome and the "insiders" were on the money when it came to Wikileaks not providing any legal team for Manning.

Wait a second here.. Just who is the official fund raiser for Manning? Assange is trying to milk the public for $200K, now we have an alleged Manning support group wanting another $200K!

Just who will be managing and accounting for these funds?

So much has changed media-wise since W left office, it boggles the mind how forgetful much of America is.

Basically, if it is on TV, talked about by a Late Night host, or an article on the first few pages of a newspaper, people talk about it. If it is not, people don’t.

From 2003 to 2008, MSM released almost daily deaths and carnage in Iraq. 2009 to 2010? Almost nuthin. And even though the RATs wanted the Afghan War, we won’t fight it AND the is also no daily death and carnage count.....

Rush, no other talk show talkie even mentions the "where is the oil?" story but you. Maybe time for you to quit tooting your horn. We all know just how smart you are but time to move on.

I posted this on another thread, but it fits in here too.

Jan Brewer should send a letter to the Governors of her neighboring states and to states that are considering enacting a law similar to Arizona's.

My fellow Governors:

As you know, the Federal Government either can not or will not perform its Constitutional duty to control our borders to prevent people from entering this nation illegally. Not only that, but Federal Judge Bolton is so concerned that we have volunteered to assist the Federal Government that she blocked key portions of our law because we might cause the Federal Government to be unduly burdened.

My request is that for the State Governors to pool our resources and manpower and take over the task of protecting the citizens of our mutual states, a pledge we all took seriously upon taking to oath of office.

We need to locate, detain, and deport persons in our mutual states who are not here legally. Since assisting the Federal Government would be an undue burden, we will simply do this with out their help. That way, we won't cause any undue burden.

Did you know The Daily Show with Jon Liebowitz plays on CNN in Europe? Like Libtards, europeans get their US “news” from them. No wonder they hate us! Or, hated us, whatever. Enjoy your Nobel Peace Prize 0bama. It’s crazy SNL, The Daily Show, and the State Run Media are the main source of news for such a large population. It’s like we are living in a dream.

Here is the story that Rush mentioned just now and earlier on May 18th:

SkyNews
Updated May 18, 2010
BP Chief Predicts ‘Very Modest’ Oil Spill Impact
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/05/18/bp-chief-predicts-modest-oil-spill-impact/

The British oil giant has risked outrage along the Gulf Coast by predicting a far smaller environmental impact than has been feared by experts.

The chief executive of BP tells Sky News he believes the massive Gulf of Mexico oil spill will end up having only a “very, very modest” environmental impact.

Experts had feared the Deepwater Horizon disaster could have led to one of the worst environmental catastrophes in U.S. history.

But the British oil giant has risked outrage along the Gulf Coast by predicting a far smaller impact.

“I think the environmental impact of this disaster is likely to have been very, very modest,” Tony Hayward said. “It is impossible to say and we will mount, as part of the aftermath, a very detailed environmental assessment but everything we can see at the moment suggests that the overall environmental impact will be very, very modest.”

Click here to see video of Tony Hayward’s statement. VIDEO BP Chief: Oil Spill Impact ‘Very Modest’ http://tinyurl.com/33tpnh4

BP has begun capturing some of the leaking oil after inserting a suction tube into the fractured riser pipe on the seabed.

It is gathering up an estimated one fifth of the oil pumping out of the fractured well.

“Over the last 36 hours we have made a lot of progress on containment on the seabed,” Hayward said. “We have a piece of technology engineering which we have developed and which is now allowing us to produce oil from the leak to the surface.”

The BP chief spoke to Sky News after completing a visit to Florida where he handed over $25 million to pay for an advertising campaign for the state’s tourism industry.

He appeared upbeat as he met teams at BP’s vast crisis control center in Houston.

The center has been working around the clock for more than three weeks trying to identify solutions to the crisis.

The company believes the next stage of its response effort could see the leak sealed completely within seven to 10 days if all goes to plan.

You can say SOB on TV/radio, everywhere really, it was restricted only by the network itself. The 7 George Carlin words were only outlawed. But with this new court ruling I think you can say them now too.
