Reid: Dem Energy Bill Will Create Jobs and Lower Energy Costs for Consumers

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Wednesday that the Senate’s energy bill is necessary for the “environment and for national security,” adding that the legislation will generate jobs and lower energy costs for consumers.

However, Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), ranking member of the Senate Energy and Public Works Committee, in a statement indicated that the Senate’s energy bill will eliminate jobs by making Obama’s oil drilling moratorium permanent.

I decided this may be the last summer I can enjoy air conditioning here in Florida. It’s 97 degrees outside right now.

Yeah, this new energy bill will lower my energy costs because I WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE AFFORD ELECTRICITY!

I believe they think your energy costs will go down because you won't be using electricity any longer, driving a car any longer or cooking your food over a stove. Have you seen the squalor's of Brazil? Maybe this is what they have in mind.
