We are not talking about all religious cults—we are talking about the Christian religion which has embedded in it the principles of Natural Law by St. Thomas Aquinas which made it compatible with the constitution of America. All offshoots of Catholic doctrine are not necessarily aligned with Natural Law, although many are.
This country was based on the fundamental principles of Natural Law and God’s Laws, so we can not venture from those ideals unless we dump the whole meaning of the Constitution.
Islam is not compatible with our constitution because it has never been aligned with reason and the fundamental principles of nature.
